WiS On Net from Lambert (F) to ...

Welcome to this conversion page for Lambert coordinates.

You need Java in order to run the Applet.

The purpose is to enter a French Lambert position expressed in

X (meter)
Y (meter)
and zone
- 1 for Lambert I
- 2 for Lambert II (default value)
- 3 for Lambert III
- 4 for Lambert IV (Corse)

and to convert it to

the coordinates of all Lambert zone.
all other coordinates

Example :
type 331279 as X,
type 2123912 as Y,
type 2 as Zone.
Press Return These are the coordinates of the top-left corner of the IGN map 'série bleue' 1330 OT of île d'Oléron which indicates 3,86 gr for longitude (west) and 51,18 gr for latitude (north).

Follow this link if you want reference points (provided by IGN) in the different Lambert zone to check the accuracy of the code. Maybe you are interested into the formulas I used!
