WiS On Net from Swiss Grid to ...

Welcome to this conversion page for swiss Grid coordinates.

You need Java in order to run the Applet.

The purpose is to enter a Swiss Grid position expressed in

Y (meter) (same as Easting)
X (meter) (Same as Northing)

and to convert it to

latitude and longitude on the CH1903 Datum,
latitude and longitude on the WGS84 Datum,
latitude and longitude on the ED50 Datum,
latitude and longitude on the NTF Datum, expresses in grades,

Example :
type 776668.249 as Y,
type 265376.046 as X.
Press Return This will give the geographic coordinates, expressed on the CH1903 Datum
lat = N 47.516727 and long = E 9.785682
